Ethereum's Bull Flag Breakout Sets Stage for $3,300 Target
Ethereum's price is gearing up to break out of its current trading range, with analysts predicting a potential move towards $3,300. The cryptocurrency has been forming a bull flag on lower timeframes, and as long as support at $2,640 holds, the setup favors the bulls. Analyst Ali Martinez says that if Ethereum can clear resistance at $2,700, it will open the door to a breakout above $3,000.
The bullish case is further supported by large holder activity, with whales pulling coins off exchanges and moving them into fresh wallets. This type of accumulation is typically seen as a sign of buying pressure, rather than sell pressure. The flow of funds out of Binance in particular supports the bullish case, with one whale withdrawing 9,132 ETH worth $24.4 million over a short period.
While there are no guarantees that Ethereum will reach its predicted price target, the current setup is certainly looking constructive. As long as support at $2,640 holds and resistance at $2,700 can be cleared, the market starts pricing in a run towards $3,000 - with $3,300 waiting if the breakout has real legs.
