Ethereum's Institutional Holders Surge Past 11% Threshold

Institutional investors are increasingly accumulating Ethereum, with nearly 11% of the total ETH supply now held by ETFs and corporate treasuries. According to Pluang, BitMine Immersion Technologies leads corporate holders with about 5.79 million ETH.

The U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs have attracted $10.86 billion in net inflows since their 2024 launch. This trend highlights growing institutional interest but does not mean the supply is permanently locked, as holdings can be sold or redeemed.
