The European Union has added crypto exchange HTX (HUOBI GLOBAL SA) to its Russia sanctions list, effective August 23, 2026. This move restricts EU persons and firms from engaging in transactions with the platform.

The ban is part of Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/1849, adopted on July 23, 2026. The exchange was listed as a third-country crypto service provider accused of significantly frustrating Russia sanctions.

Other platforms, including EXMO, Rapira, BitPapa, Aifory Pro, WhiteBird, NoOnecrypto, and Exnode, are also affected by the same ban.
