Evernorth’s 473 Million XRP Holding Debuts on Nasdaq
Evernorth is set to complete its merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II on October 7, paving the way for its Nasdaq debut as XRPN on October 8. The company will hold approximately 473 million XRP at closing, valued at around $710 million based on XRP’s October 6 price of $1.51.
The 473 million XRP represents about 0.75% of XRP’s current circulating market value and 0.47% of its 100 billion maximum supply. Evernorth’s transaction is expected to generate $300 million in gross cash proceeds, with investors also contributing XRP directly. Notably, Evernorth previously acquired 84.4 million XRP at an average price of $2.54, resulting in an unrealized market-value gap of about $87.5 million at the current price.
Evernorth’s listing introduces a new way for public-market investors to gain XRP exposure through a listed company rather than holding the token directly. The Nasdaq debut, however, does not represent fresh XRP buying but involves XRP already held or contributed by investors. The key question now is how Evernorth will manage its XRP holdings post-listing.
The October 8 debut will reveal whether investors are willing to pay a premium for this corporate route into XRP exposure. A premium to net assets would signal strong demand, while a discount could indicate a preference for direct XRP ownership. The valuation gap between XRP’s spot price, Evernorth’s holdings, and the value assigned to XRPN shares will be a crucial signal to watch.
