The FBI has seized approximately $560,000 in cryptocurrency that was allegedly intended for Hamas' military wing, the Al Qassam Brigades.

Agents took control of domains and servers linked to AlQassam.ps, a website where donors were directed to send funds using rotating wallet addresses.

The FBI obtained information on thousands of people who contacted Hamas about donating cryptocurrency, which was allegedly used for the group's military operations.

Assistant Director of the FBI’s Cyber Division Brett Leatherman stated that 'Hamas relied on cryptocurrency and online platforms to solicit funds from donors around the world.'

The latest action follows years of efforts by authorities to disrupt Hamas-linked cryptocurrency fundraising, with previous seizures including $201,400 in crypto from addresses that had received over $1.5 million since October 2024.
