FCA Orders £1.5m Crypto Scam Recovery
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has secured confiscation orders against two individuals, Raymondip Bedi and Patrick Mavanga, totaling £1.5 million. This move aims to recover funds for victims of a £1.5 million investment scam that left at least 65 individuals financially impacted.
The FCA's action marks a significant step in addressing the ongoing issue of crypto-related investment fraud. By securing confiscation orders, the regulator hopes to facilitate the recovery of lost funds for victims who were misled into investing in non-existent cryptoasset opportunities.
