Ferrari Unveils Digital Token For Exclusive Car Auction
Ferrari is set to launch its own digital token, Token Ferrari 499P, in partnership with fintech firm Conio. The token will be issued exclusively for members of Ferrari's Hyperclub, a network consisting of 100 elite clients who share a passion for endurance racing.
The 499P digital token is centered around an exclusive auction for the Le Mans-winning car of the same name, which is set to take place in 2027. Token holders will be able to trade among themselves and participate in this auction, as well as other exclusive events tied to Ferrari's racing calendar.
Ferrari has already begun accepting cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC for car purchases in the United States, with the service expanding to Europe last year. This move into digital tokens positions the luxury brand to tap into the growing pool of high-net-worth crypto holders seeking exclusive experiences and collectibles.
