FET Price Plummets Amid Broader Crypto Correction
The price of FET (Artificial Superintelligence Alliance) dropped by 6% in a broad crypto correction. The decline occurred when Bitcoin fell below $84,000, triggering large-scale liquidations and a risk-off move across altcoins.
Around $425 million in leveraged crypto long positions were liquidated, with $237 million in Bitcoin longs closed in just one hour. This imbalance exacerbated the sell-off, pushing the 10-year Treasury yield to its highest levels since the mid-2000s and further fueling geopolitical tensions.
The price of FET traded down from approximately $0.212 to about $0.197, with a 24-hour volume around $181 million. The drawdown was larger than the market's, but consistent with FET's profile as a higher volatility altcoin.
