Fetch.ai and NuNet Hit by Coordinated Attack: $2M Drained
A single attacker has reportedly exploited both Fetch.ai and NuNet, two protocols focused on decentralized artificial intelligence, draining approximately $2 million from the projects.
The same actor is believed to be responsible for the attacks, which suggests a coordinated or opportunistic strategy targeting related infrastructure in the AI space.
NuNet's native token, NTX, fell to an all-time low following the exploit, with some reports citing a decline of as much as 70%.
The exact attack vector used against Fetch.ai and NuNet has not been fully disclosed, but the incident highlights the security risks facing smaller decentralized AI projects as they scale.
