Fetch.ai and NuNet Suffer $2M Exploit: Hacker Drains Assets Across Two AI Crypto Projects
A significant exploit has been reported on two AI crypto projects, Fetch.ai and NuNet. The incident occurred on September 19, resulting in approximately $2 million in assets being drained.
According to PeckShield, around 8.7 million FET tokens left a Fetch.ai token converter, valued at roughly $1.53 million.
NuNet's deployer account also minted 408.5 million NTX tokens without authorization, which PeckShield estimated to be worth about $462,730.
Blockaid linked the two exploits based on the same receiving wallet address, 0x1572...c362.
