Fetch.ai Exploit Drains $2 Million as NTX Crashes 95%
A Fetch.ai exploit has drained $2 million from investors as NuNet (NTX) plummeted 95.7% in value.
The attack began with a weak security check on the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance [FET] token converter, allowing an attacker to extract 8.72 million FET worth approximately $1.54 million and 408.5 million newly minted NTX tokens valued at around $463,000.
The rapid asset movement suggests an attempt to consolidate the proceeds quickly, with both attacks linked to a single operator. The incidents highlight issues regarding contract security, unauthorized token issuances, and potential sell pressure affecting both ecosystems.
