Fetch.ai Halts AGIX Conversions Amid SingularityNET Bridge Exploit
Fetch.ai has halted conversions between its AGIX token and FET due to an exploit on SingularityNET's bridge, which connects Ethereum and Cardano.
The incident was first reported on September 19, with Fetch.ai confirming the issue in a post on X on September 20.
No Fetch.ai contracts were involved, according to the company, but it paused its own Ethereum-side bridge contract as a precaution.
Security trackers estimate that around $1.5 million to $2 million was lost in the attack, with NuNet's NTX token suffering significant losses, dropping by more than half within hours.
FET continued to trade normally, despite the breach, and its price remained relatively stable at $0.1773 after falling 1.53% over the previous 24 hours.
