Fhenix Mainnet Launch Set for October 21, Bringing Confidential Computing to Ethereum
Fhenix is launching its mainnet on October 21, 2026, on both Ethereum and Arbitrum networks. This move will bring confidential computing to the public blockchain ecosystem.
The launch comes with five retail-focused dApps that will go live alongside the network. These applications were selected by Fhenix's project team from over 60 projects based on product demand, app quality, and how significantly privacy impacts their functionality.
Fhenix is built around the CoFHE coprocessor, which uses fully homomorphic encryption (FHE). This technology allows smart contracts to perform computations directly on encrypted data. The project's Dual-Mode Token Standard enables switching between public and private balances within a single transaction without using bridges or wrapping assets.
The mainnet launch is a continuation of Fhenix's expansion of its FHE infrastructure, which includes the recent acquisition of the Sunscreen team in July 2026. The company also plans to integrate its CoFHE with Canopy, Sedona, and Nomyx by the end of the year.
