$FIDD Stablecoin Expands Institutional Reach in Blockchain Markets
Fidelity Digital Assets has further positioned its Ethereum-based stablecoin, FIDD, as a bridge between traditional financial accounts and blockchain-based markets.
The company's public dashboard showed approximately 50.09 million $FIDD outstanding, giving the token a market capitalization of about $50.09 million at its $1 redemption value.
$FIDD operates as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, allowing holders to transfer it to eligible addresses, although network gas fees apply.
Fidelity can restrict addresses or freeze associated tokens when it suspects sanctions violations, fraud, criminal activity, or other legal and operational risks.
