Fidelity ETF Sees $43M Outflows as Bitcoin Stress Indicator Hits Elevated Levels
The price of Bitcoin (BTC) stabilized at around $64.6k on Thursday, July 30, after the US Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates unchanged at 3.50%-3.75% on Wednesday, July 29.
Economic activity was expanding at a solid pace, but energy-related supply disruptions kept inflation rates elevated above the target 2%, according to the Fed.
The Fidelity Bitcoin ETF saw significant outflows of $43.1 million on the day of the rate decision, while BlackRock's IBIT attracted $89.8 million in inflows, breaking a seven-day streak of spot ETF inflows that ended on July 23.
Crypto analyst Axel Adler Jr. observed a stress indicator reaching a score of 52, or elevated risk, driven by price movement and exchange flows before the rate decision.
