Fidelity Expands Ethereum ETF with Staking Option

Instruments
ETH FET
Share

Fidelity Investments is expanding its Ethereum ETF, FETH, to include staking. The move follows an amended application filed with the SEC in August 2026. According to the filing, the firm will be able to stake up to 100% of the fund's assets, which amount to nearly $900 million.

The staking mechanism involves custodians Anchorage Digital, BitGo, and Fidelity Digital Assets partnering with trusted providers Blockdaemon, Figment, and Galaxy. The revenue generated from staking will be distributed among Fidelity Investments, operators, custodians, and the sponsor.

Fidelity will receive 85% of the revenue, while operators, custodians, and the sponsor will get 15%. Expenses will be covered first, and then unit holders will receive a share of the rewards on a quarterly basis.
