Fidelity's Mysterious $500M ETH Transfer: A Signal of Institutional Optimism

Ethereum (ETH) experienced renewed downside volatility after failing to hold its $1.9K support level, falling to $1,848, a price last seen two weeks ago.

At press time, ETH traded near $1,865, down 1.9% daily.

Despite the altcoin's weak upside momentum, institutional activity indicated that some large investors remained optimistic.

Fidelity-linked wallets transferred $499.55 million in ETH to three wallets, which were funded six months ago.

The movement suggested internal custody rebalancing rather than an intention to sell, and such transfers generally have a neutral effect on prices.
