Fintech Trio Unites for Issuer-Backed Tokenized Stocks Push

A coalition has been formed by three fintech companies - Bullish, Alpaca, and Apex - to push for issuer-backed tokenized stocks.

The move aims to provide investors with increased access to traditional equities through blockchain technology.

Bullish, a crypto financial platform, said in a statement that the coalition will work together to promote the benefits of issuer-backed tokens, which allow companies to issue their own digital securities directly to investors.

Alpaca's CEO, David Nadig, was quoted as saying, 'We believe that tokenized stocks have the potential to democratize access to traditional equities and provide a more efficient way for investors to buy and sell shares.'
