Fireblocks Hires Former SEC Commissioner Roisman as Top Regulatory Advisor

Fireblocks has appointed Elad Roisman as its Chief Regulatory and Policy Officer and General Counsel, Regulatory. Roisman joins from Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he co-led the Digital Assets Practice.

Roisman will lead Fireblocks' regulatory strategy and policy engagement, along with legal work on regulatory matters. He will also serve as Fireblocks' principal liaison to regulators and standards bodies in major markets such as the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Fireblocks is a leading digital asset infrastructure company, securing over $14 trillion in transactions across 150+ blockchains. Roisman's appointment comes at a critical time for the industry, with stablecoins becoming a core settlement rail for institutions and tokenized real-world assets moving from pilot to production.

Roisman brings extensive experience in regulating digital assets, having served as an SEC Commissioner and Acting Chairman. He previously advised financial institutions and fintechs on digital asset regulation at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
