Fiserv Brings Solana into Financial Settlement Workflow
Fiserv's digital asset platform has gone live, processing transactions on Solana. The new service enables the Bank of North Dakota's stablecoin, Roughrider Coin, to facilitate near-instant money transfers between more than 90 banks and credit unions.
The stablecoin is issued by VersaBank, with Fireblocks providing tokenization services. This live deployment marks a significant step for Solana in becoming part of the settlement workflow for participating financial institutions.
