Flare Simplifies XRP DeFi Onboarding with Single XRPL Signature

Flare Network has launched Smart Accounts v1.3, a major update that simplifies onboarding to XRP's DeFi ecosystem.

The new system replaces a two-signature process with a single XRPL transaction, allowing users to mint Flare's tokenized representation of XRP (FXRP) and deposit it into a yield vault in one step.

More than 40 million XRP is already earning yield through Smart Accounts across nearly 24,000 accounts, according to Flare Network.

The update widens entry points and destinations, with Ledger, Xaman, Joey Wallet, and WalletConnect-compatible wallets now connecting to Smart Accounts.
