Flooding Hits Oracle's $18B AI Project, But No Critical Damage Reported
Oracle's (ORCL) massive $18 billion AI project, Project Jupiter, suffered flooding in southern New Mexico last week. The site is a key piece of the Stargate artificial intelligence infrastructure buildout, which also includes OpenAI and SoftBank.
Despite concerns that the flooding could push back construction or add new costs, Oracle's partner STACK Infrastructure confirmed that no critical infrastructure was damaged at the Project Jupiter site.
The project remains on its original schedule, according to Oracle and STACK. The companies are now working with partners and insurers to assess any impacts at the site.
