Crypto users who installed FomoPeek on their iPhones are at risk of having their funds stolen due to malicious code in versions 1.1-1.2.

Security researchers from SlowMist discovered that the app contained an iOS kernel exploitation framework with eight attack methods, allowing it to bypass Apple's application sandbox and access private keys, seed phrases, and credentials.

The malware could exploit devices running iOS 12.0-18.7 and iOS 26.0-26.1, giving attackers control over the same blockchain assets without needing continued access to the victim's iPhone.

Binance has warned affected users to generate new wallet credentials on a clean device and move their remaining crypto, as simply deleting FomoPeek may not be enough to secure their funds.
