Font Awesome Recognizes XRP and XRPL with Official Brand Icons

XRP and XRPL have finally secured official recognition from Font Awesome, the internet's most popular icon toolkit. The inclusion of brand icons for both assets is part of Font Awesome's version 7.3.0 release in June 2026, marking a long-sought victory after a seven-year campaign.

The absence of XRP icons had been a symbolic pain point for the community, with many viewing it as a lack of representation for the Ripple ecosystem on foundational web infrastructure. Developers building XRP-focused wallets and platforms were forced to rely on workarounds, creating inconsistent branding and extra engineering overhead.

The campaign traces back to 2018, when XRP builders first approached Font Awesome to request the addition. Momentum accelerated around 2020 as token holders and developers organized voting campaigns to keep the request highly visible.
