Former Ripple Engineer Teases Secretive RLUSD-Focused Startup
A former Ripple engineer and current Walrus Protocol development marketer has revealed plans for a new project on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). Bias Goose, as he is known online, published a social media post promising to 'make RLUSD great again', hinting that his secretive startup will focus on Ripple's U.S. dollar stablecoin.
The cryptic hints began in early August, and Goose has been slowly revealing details about the project. The most recent update confirms that RLUSD will be the key instrument for the new venture. However, any further information is scarce, with Goose keeping the project's name, white paper, and legal entities under wraps.
The startup is expected to be launched in the first half of September, when Goose promises a full presentation of the project's details. The team is reportedly working in partnership with a 'closed-off sector' of the traditional economy to bring real-world business on-chain.
