Former Ripple Staffer's New XRP Ledger Startup Taps RLUSD for Financial Rail

A former Ripple staffer, Bias Goose, is working on an unnamed XRP Ledger startup that will use RLUSD as its primary financial rail. According to public posts published since August 8, the project aims to generate 'real yield' without issuing its own token or using artificial incentives.

The startup plans to bring participants from a traditionally blockchain-resistant sector onto the XRP Ledger, using RLUSD rails and involving XRP later. Bias Goose has stated that the model will use no incentives and no tokens.

Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD, already has a growing institutional footprint, with nearly $1.6 billion circulating on August 6 against larger reserve assets. The startup claims to offer yields above U.S. Treasury rates, but these claims remain unverified until economic details and partners emerge.
