Fortitude Mining's acquisition of a new Nebraska mining facility has led to a 6% surge in Zcash prices, outperforming major cryptocurrencies. The move is expected to expand Zcash's mining infrastructure and improve network security and operational efficiency.

The 12.5 MW facility in Prosser, Nebraska was acquired by Fortitude Mining for approximately $4.7 million after credits, increasing the company's owned power capacity to more than 60 MW across seven mining locations.

The expansion is seen as a positive development for the Zcash ecosystem, improving network decentralization and security while lowering production costs for miners.

ZEC price continues to trade inside a symmetrical triangle pattern, which often precedes a sharp directional move. A decisive daily close above the $540-$560 resistance zone could confirm a bullish breakout and send ZEC toward $620 or even $700.
