Forward Industries' Solana Holdings Soar, Stock Surges 8%
Forward Industries (FWDI) stock surged 8% in premarket trading on Friday after revealing a significant increase in its Solana holdings. The company's treasury-focused strategy has yielded impressive results, with SOL per share growing 10% quarter over quarter and roughly 42% annualized.
The Solana stash grew by 13% to 8.5 million tokens in the fiscal fourth quarter, representing about 1.4% of Solana's entire circulating supply. Forward bought the tokens at an average cost of $83 each.
The increase in SOL holdings is a key aspect of Forward's strategy to build a 'Berkshire Hathaway for Solana', as described by Chief Investment Officer Ryan Navi. This approach involves blending debt and equity capital access with diversified yield and stakes across the ecosystem.
