Franklin Templeton's XRP ETF Defies Price Slump with $3.5 Million Inflow
Franklin Templeton's XRP ETF continues to attract significant investor demand despite the price slump in XRP. According to data from SoSoValue, the fund pulled in $3.5013 million on September 16, making it the only product in the category to post positive net flows for the day. This is not an isolated incident; Franklin's XRPZ product has consistently been the sole recipient of investor capital in recent days.
The inflows come as XRP struggles with a decline of nearly 10% over two days, falling from $1.42 to $1.28. The price drop was largely due to the U.S. Senate's failure to secure cloture on the CLARITY Act, which aimed to establish clearer federal oversight for digital asset trading and cryptocurrency businesses.
Despite the regulatory uncertainty, Franklin Templeton's XRP ETF has effectively become the default destination for new money in the category. The fund's cumulative net intake now stands at roughly $483 million, with a significant portion of that coming from investor demand on September 16 alone.
