French Crypto Thieves Sentenced for Home Invasions Targeting Doxxed Millionaire's Former Estate

A series of home invasions targeting a house in Amiens, France has led to the sentencing of two would-be crypto thieves. The victims, a farmer and bank executive in their twenties, believe that the financial details of the previous owners, who made millions with crypto, were leaked on the dark web.

The first group broke into the home on June 24 but was chased off by the couple's dogs. A second group broke in on June 26, tying up one of the victims and beating the other before fleeing. The third attack took place on July 17 but was deterred by an alarm installed after the first two break-ins.

The two men who were sentenced received a three-year prison sentence and 18 months in prison, respectively. The couple now wants to sell their house due to no longer feeling safe living there.
