Fruit Flies and Cats Take Center Stage in Cryptocurrency Trading
The world of cryptocurrency trading has taken an unusual turn on platforms like Robinhood and Solana. On September 3, a paper was published in Cell detailing the mapping of the central nervous system of a male fruit fly. This map, containing 166,700 neurons and 124 million connections, has been open-sourced and treated as a massive neural network by developers.
The result is that some fruit flies are now playing games or trading cryptocurrencies, including FLYBRAIN, which has seen significant traffic after Marc Andreessen's co-founder of a16z attention. The trading pair for FLYBRAIN is GOOGL, with liquidity at 30 million after surging to 60 million.
On Solana, the StonkFun platform remains the core focus, with ZCAT exceeding 100 million and the pool being ZEC. Assets like RAYCAT and LEVERCAT operate on a dividend mechanism, distributing major altcoins to holders based on their holdings.
