Galaxy Digital Inc., the crypto financial services firm led by billionaire Michael Novogratz, reported stronger-than-expected results for the third quarter of 2026. The company's revenue reached $8.06 billion, surpassing analysts' estimates of $7.8 billion. However, revenue was still lower compared to the same period last year.
Net income for the quarter was $323 million, or 66 cents per share, marking a 36% decline from the year-ago period. Despite the drop in earnings, investors reacted positively to the better-than-expected revenue, pushing Galaxy Digital's shares up about 8% in pre-market trading.
The results highlight the company's resilience in a challenging market, though the year-over-year decline in revenue and net income suggests ongoing headwinds in the crypto sector.
