Galaxy Powers Staking for Morgan Stanley's New Ethereum and Solana ETPs
Morgan Stanley Investment Management has selected Galaxy as one of the approved validators to power staking for two new digital asset exchange-traded products (ETPs): Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust. The ETPs aim to track the performance of ETH and SOL, respectively, and will stake a portion of their holdings through institutional validators, including Galaxy.
Galaxy is one of three firms selected to support staking across both products. According to Steve Kurz, Global Co-Head of Digital Assets at Galaxy, Morgan Stanley Investment Management evaluated them against both networks separately and chose Galaxy due to its proven track record in the industry.
The partnership reflects a growing trend among banks and asset managers to partner with infrastructure providers that have already demonstrated institutional-scale capabilities. Galaxy's Onchain Infrastructure team ended Q2 2026 with $2.8 billion in staked assets across Ethereum, Solana, and other leading proof-of-stake networks.
Morgan Stanley Investment Management's Ally Wallace noted the importance of providing digital asset solutions that meet client demand while adhering to their standards. Galaxy's partnership with Morgan Stanley is a key component of its growing validator and staking footprint across networks and asset managers.
