MARA Holdings Inc. Stocks Plummet After Disappointing Earnings and Crypto Exposure
MARA Holdings Inc. stocks have been declining since the company reported disappointing quarterly earnings, leading to a -7.93% drop in value.
The Q2 loss of $1.60 per share was a significant deterioration from the previous year's earnings of $1.84 per share, and revenue fell sharply to $174.9M from $238.5M, missing Wall Street estimates by over $34M.
A $343M fair value hit on digital assets drove much of MARA's net loss, highlighting its exposure to the crypto market. Morgan Stanley maintained an Underweight rating despite raising its target price from $5.50 to $6, while the Street average target remains near $17.55 with an Overweight bias.
