Garlinghouse Doubts CLARITY Act Impact on Crypto's Future

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse spoke at a digital asset event in Kansas City, saying that the fate of the CLARITY Act won't determine the future of cryptocurrency.

Garlinghouse stated that he supports the act but believes existing financial infrastructure hasn't kept pace with technology. As a result, better, faster, and stronger technologies are likely to win out.

The Ripple CEO also questioned why the US would risk ceding leadership in crypto regulation to other countries, given that many G20 nations have already established their own frameworks.
