Garlinghouse: XRP Not Always Best Answer, Utility Trumps Speculation

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has clarified that XRP is not always the best solution for every existing payment-related use case.

In a recent interview, he acknowledged that another asset might be more effective in certain situations.

Garlinghouse emphasized that utility above everything else, and any technology or token must have a real use case to solve a problem. He cited the NFT craze and meme coin trend as examples of speculative trends without inherent value.

The Ripple CEO also revealed his personal holding of Solana (SOL) and expressed respect for Coinbase despite their disagreements over the failed Clarity Act.
