Gemini Expands XRP Support with Direct Deposits and Withdrawals in Singapore
Gemini has expanded its support for XRP in Singapore by enabling direct deposits and withdrawals over the XRP Ledger network. The move, announced on August 25 by Gemini CEO Tyler Winklevoss, gives users in Singapore access to XRP-related products and adds another layer of functionality to the exchange's growing support for XRP.
The expansion is part of Gemini's broader efforts to increase its XRP offerings, which include cross-collateral for derivatives trading and a partnership with Ripple on an XRP edition of the Gemini Credit Card. Users who held their XRP rewards for at least a year saw those rewards increase by 453%, according to Gemini.
The latest integration follows several steps by Gemini to expand its XRP-related offerings, including supporting RLUSD deposits and withdrawals over XRPL. The move also comes as institutional interest in XRP continues to attract attention, with Goldman Sachs recently disclosing $86.5 million in exposure across five XRP ETFs.
