Gemini, the cryptocurrency exchange owned by the Winklevoss twins, is upgrading its Zcash software to take advantage of faster block times.
The upgrade will reduce the time it takes for new blocks to be added to the Zcash blockchain from approximately one minute to 25 seconds.
Gemini cited security and scalability as key benefits of the upgrade.
