German Regulator Warns of Unauthorized Crypto Platforms

The German financial supervisor, BaFin, has issued a warning about a series of AI-powered crypto trading platforms that are suspected of operating without authorization.

According to BaFin's findings, these websites collect contact details from visitors and pass them on to operators of unauthorized online trading platforms. The damage is not just financial, but begins the moment you enter your data into the form.

The 39 websites in question are characterized by their similar names and domain structures, with bundles of three appearing across .com.net, and .org. BaFin notes that these pages have no legally valid imprint and may be connected to further series they have already warned about.
