A Layer 2 bridge called GIWA was allegedly targeted by scammers who drained 766 ETH from the network. DYORSWAP, a project that mistakenly believed it was working with GIWA, has announced plans to reimburse users who bridged less than 5 ETH by 40%.

GIWA's Layer 2 bridge allows for faster and cheaper transactions on the Ethereum network. However, in this case, scammers apparently exploited the system, draining a significant amount of Ether from unsuspecting users.

DYORSWAP has stated that it will reimburse eligible wallets for 40% of their losses, but only for those who bridged less than 5 ETH.
