Glassnode Expands Latency Monitoring Tool to Three New Ethereum L2 Networks

Glassnode has expanded its latency monitoring tool to track transaction submission round-trip times on three additional Ethereum Layer 2 networks: Ink, OP Mainnet, and ZKsync Era.

The new additions bring the total number of covered chains to six, including centralized exchange APIs and other Layer 2 networks like Base and Arbitrum One.

Glassnode's tool addresses a critical issue for high-frequency traders and market makers, who face a co-location problem similar to traditional finance.

The latency monitor uses global probes deployed across platforms like Fly.io and AWS in Asia, Europe, and the Americas to measure round-trip times for submitting transactions to each network's sequencer.
