Godfather's Girlfriend Sentenced for Hiding $2.6M

Iris Rabaya Au, a 37-year-old woman from Irvine, received an 18-month federal prison sentence for concealing more than $2.6 million she obtained through her former boyfriend's criminal activities.

Au pleaded guilty to filing a false tax return in March 2025 and was ordered by U.S. District Judge Percy Anderson to pay $1,484,343 in restitution and forfeit luxury assets.

The money moved through companies and bank accounts Au established for Adam Iza, a self-styled crypto businessman who used the nickname 'Godfather' while presenting himself as a cryptocurrency entrepreneur.
