Gold House Toast Celebrates API Emmy Nominees at Beverly Hills Event

On Thursday evening at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles' Beverly Hills, Gold House's annual One House Toast to the Emmys honored API Emmy nominees. The event, sponsored by Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business and others, celebrated over 200 nominated creatives from various shows, including Netflix's BEEF and Bridgerton, HBO Max's The Pitt, and ABC's Abbott Elementary.

BEEF creator Lee Sung Jin expressed gratitude to Gold House for providing an opportunity to connect with cast members, such as Charles Melton. He recalled how he pitched Melton on the second season at a Gold House event, where CEO Bing Chen facilitated their meeting.

The Pitt lead in nominations with 25 this year, but its only person of color nominee is Sepideh Moafi for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Moafi humbly accepts her nomination and shares gratitude for the love and support from her castmates and MENA/SWANA/API community.

TV Academy Chief of Staff Brandy R. Curry commends organizations like Gold House for elevating underrepresented communities, providing access to opportunities and empowering creators.
