Golden Cross vs Death Cross: Which Signal Reigns Supreme?
Bitcoin's 50-day moving average has crossed above its 200-day line, a pattern known as the golden cross. This signal is often treated as a buy indicator by chart analysts.
Cryptoticker.io analyzed eleven measurable golden crosses since 2014 and found that after 90 days, Bitcoin stood higher in eight cases, averaging a gain of 15.9 percent.
However, the study also revealed that the death cross, where the short line falls below the long one, outperformed the golden cross over the same period, with an average gain of 21.6 percent after 90 days.
