Goldman Brings $100B Treasury Fund to Crypto Firms via tZERO Network
Goldman Sachs has made its $105.3 billion Treasury fund available to institutional crypto firms through tZERO's Lynq settlement network.
The fund, which invests only in US Treasury obligations and operates as a government money market fund under Rule 2a-7, had $97.3 billion in Institutional Shares at the end of August.
According to tZERO, access is limited to qualified US participants, and clients hold the same Institutional Shares as any other investor in that class, without tokenising them.
Lynq settles on a permissioned Avalanche Layer 1 and has carried over 30 institutions since its move in April, including B2C2, Galaxy, and Wintermute.
