Goldman Sachs Brings $100 Billion Treasury Fund to Avalanche-Based Infrastructure
Goldman Sachs has brought its roughly $100 billion Treasury fund into Avalanche-based institutional infrastructure through Lynq, a private, permissioned Avalanche Layer 1. This allows eligible firms to hold cash in Goldman's Treasury fund between trades and access Treasury-linked yield within their digital-asset workflow.
The AVAX price fell by 5% on September 28 despite this major development from Wall Street. At the time of writing, TradingView data showed AVAX trading at around $10.30. The recent sell-off cannot be said to overshadow the growth in institutional adoption on the network.
Avalanche has been expanding its institutional narrative with tokenized funds, payment infrastructure, and private blockchain deployments over the past month. The latest innovation embeds a conventional Wall Street product into workflows already used by digital-asset firms, rather than simply placing a traditional asset on a public blockchain.
