Goldman Sachs Lowers Odds of September Rate Hike

The outlook for a potential September Federal Reserve interest-rate increase has been revised downward by Goldman Sachs. According to the bank, this hike is now 'very unlikely.'

This assessment comes in response to soft economic data, including retail sales and employment figures that have slowed inflation rates.

In a note to clients obtained by Bloomberg, Chief Economist Jan Hatzius stated that under their baseline forecasts, inflation news will likely improve further rather than deteriorate. They believe market pricing for the funds rate is still too hawkish.

The price of Bitcoin has remained relatively stable within a narrow range of $62,000 to $66,000 over the past month, currently trading at around $63,500, representing a 1% gain since midnight UTC.
