Goldman Sachs Reclaims Top Spot in XRP ETF Holdings Amid Market Surge
Goldman Sachs has reclaimed its position as the top institutional investor in XRP ETFs after re-entering the market with an $86.50 million allocation distributed across five distinct products.
The investment bank's portfolio includes positions in Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, Canary, and 21Shares' XRP ETFs, with specific holdings of 2,208,949 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF and 2,238,407 shares of Franklin's XRPZ product.
This move follows a significant increase in institutional adoption of XRP-linked investment vehicles, with JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America also disclosing XRP ETF positions in their Q2 2026 regulatory filings.
The XRP token has experienced a remarkable 40% surge within five days, climbing from below $1.00 to approach $1.40, with daily volume surging 156% and open interest in XRP futures contracts increasing by over 17% to reach $3.44 billion.
