Goldman Sachs Returns to XRP Market with $86.5M in ETF Holdings
Goldman Sachs has re-established itself as the largest institutional holder of XRP ETFs after reporting $86.5 million in its Q2 2026 filing.
The move comes as XRP has surged more than 40% this week, climbing from near $1 to around $1.37.
Goldman Sachs' return as a major player in the XRP market is notable, given that it had previously held a $153 million position before exiting and then reporting no XRP ETF holdings in its previous filing.
The bank's latest filing shows that it has spread its reported XRP ETF exposure across five different funds: Bitwise XRP ETF ($25.76 million), Franklin XRP Trust ($25.41 million), Canary XRP ETF ($19.49 million), 21Shares XRP ETF ($8.21 million), and Grayscale XRP Trust ($7.66 million).
