Goldman Sachs Taps Avalanche for $100 Billion Institutional Investment

Avalanche's network just got a significant boost as Goldman Sachs has connected $100B to its flagship Treasury fund, FTIXX.

The fund will be offered on Lynq, a private, permissioned Avalanche L1, which allows firms on the network to put cash to work between trades and earn yield without leaving their existing infrastructure.

This move is significant as it brings institutional investment into the ecosystem. Over 30 digital asset firms use the network, including B2C2, Wintermute, Galaxy, FalconX, and Fireblocks.

GOLDMAN Sachs chose not to tokenize the fund, instead offering the ordinary institutional share class through Lynq's chain as a new settlement and distribution rail. This keeps the product familiar for compliance teams and moves cash on the same rails as trades.
